Energy Efficiency Labeling Program in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has introduced an Energy Efficiency Labeling program to establish minimum performance standards for various electric products. This label serves as a means to compare product performance in the market.
Every model covered by this program must be registered and licensed on the SASO platform before being imported into Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, each licensed model receives a license certificate and an Energy Efficiency Label from SASO. The Energy Efficiency Label must be affixed to each product prior to export.
