G-Mark Certificate
To minimize technical trade barriers and enhance the free flow of goods across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) introduced the "G-Mark" as a key initiative.
The "G-Mark" signifies those products meet all technical regulations set by the GSO. Products can only display the "G-Mark" after successfully completing conformity assessment procedures.
Each product category covered by the "G-Mark" regulation must obtain a "G-Mark" certificate and a unique QR code prior to entering GCC countries. Subsequently, both the "G-Mark" and the unique QR code are printed on each product before export. The "G-Mark" certificate remains valid for three years.
What are the products under the scope of "G-mark" regulation?
